Kiwanis Sponsored Programs and Events At the Colebrook Public Library
Whale Program with the Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation
Audrey Eisenhauer, the Education Director of Squam Lakes Natural Science Center out of Holderness, NH, visited the North Country on August 10 with several live critters (including a snapping turtle, bat, and bard owl) as part of the Colebrook Public Library’s “Oceans of Possibilities” Summer Reading Program. Kaitlin Wood, the Youth Services Librarian, reached out to the Kiwanis Club of Colebrook earlier this year about potentially sponsoring this event, and the request was unanimously approved. Because of this generous donation, the Colebrook Public Library has been able to offer additional programs and fun activities throughout the summer.
